KMEA Scholarships
Robert & Myrabel Hollowell ScholarshipThis memorial scholarship is named for Bob Hollowell, former Executive Director of KMEA, and his wife Myrabel, for their service to the organization and to the kids and teachers that they served so well. In their honor, KMEA will present a $500 scholarship to a deserving college junior each year at the In-Service Workshop.
Don & JoAnne Corbett Scholarship
The Don and JoAnne Corbett Scholarship is a $500 award given annually to honor the service of the Corbetts to KMEA and NAfME. This scholarship is awarded to a Music Education major who is a Collegiate NAfME member at a four-year college or university in Kansas during the semester of student teaching.
All-State Scholarships (Winds/Perc, Voice, Strings)
KMEA awards three $500 scholarships to high school seniors who enroll as music education majors in a four-year Kansas college or university. One scholarship will be granted in each of the performance areas of wind/percussion, strings and voice.
Tri-M Music Honor Society Scholarship
KMEA awards a $500 scholarship to a Tri-M Music Honor Society member who is a high school senior and who will enroll as a music education major in a four-year Kansas college or university.
